Hello and Welcome!

Welcome to The Place Where Magic Grows!

Finally after years and years and year of putting off making a blog, and several unsuccessful attempts, it's finally time to have a wonderful fresh start. And so, here it is, a Place Where Magic grows. 

So, of course, what make this blog special? Why read it? Why follow it? Why give two hoots about any of it? And why a corny name to piece it all together? Let me address each of these in turn.

Firstly, this blog is your typical read, review, pictures and amazement blog. I wanted a place where I can write reviews for surprise packages I get in the mail and recognize wonderful people who send me things. So, from the get go, I subscribe to a couple of wonderful book boxes, run by wonderful people.I follow them actively on Instagram, but I felt as though Instagram, while wonderful, I not a place for review, or to show true appreciation for everything that I get in my packages. Not only that, I'm quite sure there are several people who might not get to see my Instagram as they don't have one to follow me, and this blog will be much easier for them to access. Plus, why not drop the hashtags and add a plethora of thoughts instead? Especially about multiple aspects of one thing. I don't always want to minimize pictures into a layout. Sometimes, I just want to pot a bunch.

The choice to read, and follow, ultimately, belongs to those who care enough to do both, or one or the other. I'm not here to force people into anything.I jut want to express gratitude and share my experiences with people who might be thinking about subscribing to a subscription bow, or perhaps, just want to see what is inside boxes each month. I will also be posting book reviews, and making my own suggestions on how some books compare to others. So, if you wanted a second opinion on why you should check out great authors, or even some giveaways that you might not have known about, this is a secondary place to look and discover new things.

Why the name? Well, to be very honest, I'm currently living in a very flat place. While this place has an abundance of farmland, it also has an abundance of opportunities that I myself have been reaping slowly over the past year I've spent here. I've made new connections, new family, I've gotten more experience under my belt for my career, and found some beautiful people to do all of these things with! I've also found myself more than once missing my chic far away West Coast home, as i'm firmly in the Midwest currently. However, this first year away from home has allowed me to see that magic really does exist if you look hard enough to find it. Glorious things happen and magic can sprout form the most unlikely of places. 

Although I never knew what I would be getting myself into, I am glad I found this very special place full of opportunity, wonderful people that lift spirits high, and a very comfortable situation of being able to subscribe to different subscriptions. (Being away from home also means surprises from home, and friends all over the world!) I'm looking forward to sharing all of these wonderful experiences with the people who find this blog, and want to learn a little bit more about the place I find Magic growing everyday.
